Community Involvement Communications

The NBIP process affords many opportunities for community members to get involved. The SR 179 Project Team is conducting a major outreach program to involve the community in the planning process. The Public Outreach programs includes two main elements: Community Involvement and Communications.

For those who have limited time, there will be opportunities such as providing feedback through this website, e-newsletters, project hotline (800-529-2876) and the project office. Additional opportunities include charrettes, educational forums, design workshops and visitng the project booth at community events. These methods will be supported by all types of media, from newsletters and surveys to radio and newspapers, as well as a local project office.
