Project 1 Soil Preparation Begins for Project 1 Landscape Planting The work to install electrical and irrigation items for the landscape project in the Village of Oak Creek is about one month from being complete. This week crews will begin working on the planting pits, preparing soil for the spring plantings. Project 2 Business District Taking Shape This photo, taken from Hillside and looking north towards the bridge, shows this portion of the business district taking shape. Watch this week for curb and gutter installation and paving.
New Wall Beginning for Canyon Roundabout Work has begun on a retaining wall that will support the new Canyon Roundabout. This photo shows the beginning of the wall construction. Watch during ensuing weeks as the wall takes shape, showing how the new roundabout will be positioned in the Canyon area.
Mallard to Juniper Section Nearly Complete A major milestone is nearing completion, with a long stretch of roadway nearly complete through the residential area south of the business district. The community will notice that certain sections will be complete this spring and work will focus in other areas, such as the curve near Poco Diablo and the roadway between Son Silver West and the Oak Creek Mobile Lodge. Please note: Changes to construction plans can happen frequently due to weather, equipment availability and personnel issues. We try to anticipate construction activities a week in advance but changes may occur. Intermittent lane closures, with short delays, may not always be known in advance.
